Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated · May 4, 2026
1. The general rule
You can use TigerScribeto transcribe, search, and analyze audio you have legal rights to process. You can’t use it to harm people, evade laws, or build the next surveillance empire on top of our infrastructure.
2. Specifically prohibited uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Transcribe audio you do not have the legal right to record or process.
- Transcribe audio without the consent of speakers in jurisdictions where consent is required.
- Collect or enroll voiceprints of any person without that person’s explicit, informed consent.
- Build databases that enable identification or surveillance of people across contexts (re-identification).
- Process audio of children under 16 without verified parental consent.
- Generate or distribute non-consensual sexual content, including via voice-cloning workarounds.
- Distribute malware, phishing pages, or content that infringes intellectual-property rights.
- Harass, threaten, or stalk individuals using transcripts or voiceprints.
- Train, fine-tune, or evaluate competing speech-recognition or speaker-identification systems on the outputs of the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our models, embeddings, or training data.
- Circumvent rate limits, plan limits, or technical protections.
- Resell access without a written reseller agreement with us.
3. The consent rule, in detail
You are solely responsible for ensuring that the audio you upload was legally recorded and that you have all necessary rights and consents to process it through the Service. In all-party consent jurisdictions (parts of the US, the EU, the UK, and elsewhere), this means consent of every recorded speaker.
4. AI-generated outputs
Transcripts and summaries produced by TigerScribeare generated by automated systems and can contain errors, including invented or misattributed content. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publication, citation, or use in regulated contexts (clinical, legal, journalistic). Do not represent automated transcription as “verbatim” without your own review.
5. Enforcement
We may suspend, throttle, or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with or without notice depending on the severity. For most issues we’ll reach out first and ask you to fix the behavior. For severe issues — non-consensual biometric collection, CSAM, deepfake creation — we suspend immediately and report to law enforcement where required.
6. Reporting violations
If you believe TigerScribe is being misused, email abuse@tigerscribe.com. Include enough detail for us to investigate. We treat reports confidentially.
